A rash of network marketers recently had their YouTube accounts shut down, losing years of content, hundreds of videos, and for many, an important revenue stream.
Why?
Because of YouTube Flagging
What the Heck is YouTube Flagging?
YouTube flagging is what happens when a group of individuals maliciously marks a person's videos as spam or as inappropriate.
Over the past two years we've seen several companies targeted… meaning reps who use the company's keywords are the ones who suffer the most. When their videos show up in the search results, they get flagged by dozens (sometimes up to 100) users in a very short timeframe.
YouTube then locks down the account and displays a message that the video has been removed due to a policy violation. And once the account is gone, it most likely isn't coming back.
