99.99% of the time things like your follower counts and likes are not going to get you profit. Email is more profitable than anything else.
60/40 Split
As long as you're having 40% of your attention on branding and engagement, it's going to lower your cost per lead.
The other 60% should be focused on conversion.
Deliver Your Promises
You want to make sure that you deliver what you promised them and stay in that vein. You can't switch the topic in the funnel. Be congruent in your messaging.
Ask People to Respond
Ask them to respond to you often. This gives their email management the notification that you're important.

You start behind without being proactive with your email list.
Automation vs Weekly Updates
Write 10 out of the gate and pre-schedule them and it gives you a ton of follow up emails.
Add a P.S. and Use Cliff Hangers
Don't finish your story as often as possible. You want people waiting with bated breath for your next email.
Lower the Friction
Make it so easy to generate loyal leads. Lead gen is getting more expensive. Deliver first!
