Things About VideoMaker FX We Love
There's no doubt that explainer videos are hot right now… they're great for sales pages, and are incredibly effective when it comes to holding your audience's attention.
Before now, you either had to hire someone to create something like this (which could literally cost thousands of dollars), or you could try creating your own using a combination of presentation and screen capture software… not at all easy for a beginner and certainly not time effective.
We love that VideoMakerFX makes it easy and fast to create explainer videos using pre-designed drag and drop slides, and that they've chosen a one-time payment model to purchase the software.
Things that Could Be Better
While we really like the software, it does have it's minor issues. For example, when adding several slides at once, they get added to the presentation out of order, which isn't a huge problem but can be mildly annoying.
You're also limited to the included characters and animations… thankfully, in the upsell you're offered a Video Maker FX add on “Pro Themes” that contains additional slides. We gladly purchased these and highly recommend that you do too, or you may find you're somewhat limited.
The whiteboard animation feature is terrible… seriously… the hand isn't actually drawing anything. It just makes a scribbling motion across the paper and the image appears. If your goal is to create cool whiteboard animation videos, we'd recommend checking out Easy Sketch Pro instead.
