Easy Video Suite (EVS) for Video Hosting Review

EasyVideoSuite

For most people, YouTube is their first choice for video hosting. Unfortunately, if you have important videos stored on YouTube (think sales videos, training videos, or keepsake family videos), they aren't safe on YouTube.

Why?

Because you don't own YouTube, and just like any other social network, they can randomly decide they no longer like a video and delete it. Or worse, they can decide they don't like your entire account and shut it down.

Just last year we witnessed the destruction of hundreds accounts, when a group of people (read: jerks) got together to collectively flag the videos of reps of a certain company. This resulted in the loss of thousands of valuable videos, and an unknown amount of lost revenue for the reps who were effected.

I don't know about you, but I would NEVER trust YouTube to host my important videos.

So Why Not Use Vimeo for Video Hosting?

Vimeo is an even worse choice if you're hoping to promote your network marketing company… why? Because network marketing is against their terms and conditions.

Rather than send you off to see for yourself, I've taken a screenshot of their terms and conditions for your viewing pleasure…

That's why ALL of the videos in our membership area and all of our sales videos are hosted on Amazon S3 – uploaded and delivered via EasyVideoPlayer. (NOTE: the updated version of EasyVideoPlayer is EasyVideoSuite)

Easy Video Suite Plus Amazon S3

Hosting with Amazon makes a ton of sense. As long as it's legal, they mostly don't care what you're hosting. And their hosting services are pennies (first year is free!)

The problem is, Amazon S3 is complicated, has the world's most confusing user interface and is not at all user friendly. Here's a screenshot of my Amazon console. I know right? What the heck does all that stuff mean… bucket? Logging? Versioning? Requester Pays? Forget it…

That's where Easy Video Suite comes in… once set up, it integrates so seamlessly you never have to look at that crazy Amazon S3 console again.

You simply log into your Easy Video Suite account, upload the video from their simple, user-friendly dashboard (pictured below… looks a lot simpler right?) and it generates the code you need to embed the video on your website. Or, if you don't have a website, it creates a page for you. Pretty awesome!

Not only that, but EVS also allows you to do some other cool things, like display a buy button at the end of the video, or add convenient social sharing buttons to help you get more traffic…

Bottom line… if you need a simple and affordable solution for video hosting, but want the peace of mind that your precious videos are safe and secure, get EasyVideoSuite. It's our favorite video hosting tool… we've been using it since 2010 can say without a doubt it's been well worth the investment.
