Having an abundance mentality means understanding that some of your audience is going to love the other person's content and brand, get on their list and maybe even buy from them. But when you are coming from a place of abundance – understand there is always enough to go around – you'll realize you're contributing in a bigger way.
By giving your customer value, regardless of where it comes from you're meeting their needs. By sending customers to other thought leaders you're creating goodwill (even if the other leader doesn't realize you're doing it… crazy, we know!)
The side benefit to this is you no longer have to feel pressured to create every single piece of content you share. By curating content your audience loves, they'll know you're a valued resource and keep returning for more. This will save you time, and allow you to produce more quality content (vs quantity).
Bottom line, adopt an abundance mentality and share other people's content. It's a win win for everyone involved.
